ASA releases Ipsos community standards research insights

Recently the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) commissioned research into advertising that New Zealanders may find offensive, in order to gain a benchmark on prevailing community standards. Using a selection of 20 advertisement, the research covered a range of issues including stereotyping, violence and horror, objectification and bullying as well as children’s exposure to advertising.
