The Cannes Lions has wrapped for another year. Beyond the winners (see 'Kings of the Jungle'), what were the big concepts and ideas explored this year?

Amongst many discussions regarding creativity and consumer habits, there were many appeals toward social issues and appealing to the wider social conscience. Innovation, intention, vulnerability, and connection seemed to be the major drivers of inspiring creativity, while 'data' was the top trending word, and AI looks set to be the next major tech revolution.
