Film and television sets are demanding environments; people are often rushing around, multi-tasking to make deadlines. This whirlwind of activity increases the possibility of risks. A simple task -- if not administered safely -- can cause great injury. And a preventable injury under the new Work Act can be quite costly.

ANZA has been asked how advertisers can cost effectively ensure their obligations for health & safety on production sets are met. Risks Manager New Zealand is an online system that enables the application of workplace health and safety laws in New Zealand for the Film, Television and Advertising industries.

The system facilitates the consultation, cooperation and coordination requirements for Persons Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBUs) under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

The system also provides centralised and permanent access to documents pertaining to a film or television production.
