Liquor Promotions Prevetting System to take effect 1st October 2009.

 

Prevetting of packaging, names, websites, branded merchandise and promotional materials will be an integral part of the new promotion code regime. The objective of prevetting gave a quality control system that ensures that there is full compliance with the Code for the Naming, Packaging and Promotion of Liquor.

 

 

 

Prevetting of Promotions as covered by the Code for Naming, Packaging and Labelling of Liquor differs from the Liquor Advertising Prevetting System in that there is no media involvement in Promotions.  Therefore, prevetting distinguishes between the two clearance systems.  Both will be administered by the Association of New Zealand Advertisers Inc.
