ANZA Media Brief Series 2010
ANZA Media Brief Series 2010
ANZA’s Media Brief series provide ANZA members and their executives the opportunity to hear the latest thinking on media channels, advertising engagement and effectiveness.
Attendance at these briefings is free of charge to ANZA members
Television is dead…long live Television!!!!
The air is full of promises to advertisers of the power of the new screen technologies, the emerging media entities and the inescapable influence of social media communities.
Advertisers are warned to embrace the change and fast, or risk their brand being ignored or worse ostracised as out of touch with the new consumer.
By inference this assumes the multitude of new media have already usurped traditional television advertising and that investment in and the effectiveness of mainstream television is plummeting This month's media brief hosts, Brandworld argue that this couldn’t be further from the truth.
Television viewership in NZ riding a ratings high…. advertising investment continues to flourish and television remains by far the most effective media and there is open consumer revolt away from some large social media sites with concerns around on line privacy….
The Brandworld team as experts in “Persuasion Advertising” will:
• show how their approach best answers the growing client-lead demand for more effective communications
• in so doing ask the accountability questions of the new media channels
• elaborate on their new product ideation that merges the best of both old and new media into one cohesive and truly effective platform
